Františkovy Lázně, Czech - Day 8

Today is my last full day here in the Western Bohemian Spa Triangle as I leave Františkovy Lázně tomorrow morning for Prague and then beyond.

It has truly been a remarkably memorable and exceptional experience in all three towns and I am grateful beyond any words for the experience and for feeling so great after weeks of nature hikes, unconventional treatments and a multitude of healing waters.

Today I did errands like going to the library to return books and filling up the plastic bottles I've collected over the last few weeks with Františkovy Lázně water to take with me tomorrow. It will only get me about 3, max 4 more days of water cure but that's still great and I'm happy to have it. Fortunately the hotel is only a quick 5 minute walk to the bus and my hotel in Prague is a quick 5 or 10 minute walk on a main street with good sidewalks so it should be easy to drag the water along with me.

I got some great pictures of various sculptures and architectural details and am fully ready to leave this uniquely healing part of the world.

Two new German couples have joined my dining table but both are incredibly shy and quiet. They don't talk to their spouses throughout the meals and they don't talk to each other either. It's a little strange but to each his own and they're nice enough, just quiet.

I'm sitting in the lounge with Marie from Pilsnar, Czech who is so sweet and invited me to visit her next time I'm in Czech. She's skyping with her son in Portland, OR right now talking to her infant grandson and singing something in Czech to him. What a great invention for many reasons but certainly for grandparents who are thousands of miles away Skype is a true God send!
