Just got a sad email from Arleen that our beloved little Zaboo was sick and she had to have him put to sleep as he had cancer. He was so precious to us and we love him very, very much and will miss him always. He certainly kept us on our toes with his demands of water from the bathtub faucet and wanting to play with balled up pieces of paper whenever I was working at my computer in my room or just having to have his very special stuffed cat friend that he had a very, albeit dysfunctional, relationship with. He brought us lots of smiles and laughter and I will always miss his often mood swings and fierce attitude but of course his loud hiss and ferocious meows were always much worse than his bite every could be especially after having all his teeth removed from gum disease. And then he grew back a few, only Zaboo!
The picture above is from when he was just a kitten and his Auntie Phyllis gave him that stuffed dog which years later he squashed a mouse against it and suffocated it so I had to throw the dog out along with the dead mouse. He did love so much killing mice.
